MARRIAGE AND RELATIONSHIP ISSUES

If you are reading this, then chances are that your relationship is in trouble and you may even be considering separation or divorce.

You may be wondering what went wrong and desperately want to know how you can get things back on track.

The good news is that with the right tools and support you can turn things around, but the truth is that you will need to make some effort to get there and be willing to make changes. It is a bit like wanting to get fit – you won’t get fit without doing any exercise! Sometimes couples want to change their relationships but are not able to put in the effort required. This leads to frustration, disappointment and in my experience can actually make things worse.

The secret is all about building a deep connection, keeping that connection alive and strong. I use evidence-based approaches, based on the science behind relationships. Key principles include:

- Learning how to create a sense of security and safety in the relationship

- Understanding how to manage “runaway” feelings and thoughts that can often hijack connection.

- Learning how to “fight” well by communicating your needs in a way that protects connection.

If any of the following statements describe your relationship then I would encourage to take action by completing the Relationship Health Questionnaire which can help you identify specific areas to work or if you are ready for change or would like to find out more about how I can help you contact me on 0459911602 or via the contact form.
